The Childs Hospital and St. MargaretsHouse, founded likewise by the bishop, are in chargeof the Sisterhood of the Holy Child Jesus — an orderestablished by Bishop Doane, and devoted to works ofmercy and to the education of the oung — and areinstitutions of Christian benevolence whose influenceis felt in the community.
