STOCKIMO IS SUNSETTING

Future plans for our Stockimo app

Over the last few months we’ve been reviewing performance of the Stockimo app and thinking about future plans for ingesting mobile phone photography and we’ve come to the difficult decision to retire the app.

What does this mean?

By sunsetting the app we will continue to support existing contributors and their on-sale photos. Contributors will still be able to manage their uploaded photos and sales will continue to be reported back to the app. However, we will not be taking on board new contributor registrations or accepting newly uploaded photos from existing contributors.

Future plans

Currently it’s not possible to upload mobile phone photography direct to Alamy. We believe there’s a bright future for mobile phone photography on Alamy and we’re currently exploring alternative options for uploading this content. We’re hopeful we can migrate the Stockimo community onto an alternative Alamy environment. We will update this page and notify all existing contributors once more information becomes available.

How long will the Stockimo app be available?

The limited functionality of the app will remain in place until we have an alternative solution. The exact timeframe for this is currently unknown, but you will be updated once more information is available.

Can I close my account?

If you no longer wish to sell your photos via Stockimo, you can email us (support@stockimo.com) and request your account is closed and all uploaded photos deleted.
