ANNANDALE, VIRGINIA (October 30, 2016) Petty Officers 1st Class Maia Rodriguez, left and Chelsi Ervein, as they perform with the U.S. Navy Band Sea Chanters chorus during the chourus' 60th anniversary concert. The Sea Chanters chorus celebrated their 60th anniversary iin Annandale, Virginia, with a concert featuring alumni from the group. The chorus was formed as an all-male group in 1956 and tasked with perpetuating the songs of the sea. In 1980, the group added women to their ranks and expanded their repertoire to include everything from Brahms to Broadway.
