*The asterisk conveys a very slight uncertainty about listing this pyramid as being in the village of Carluddon, which as of 2023 certainly does have a "Cornish Pyramid" of very similar appearance. If this location name is critical, please carry out your own research. This 2002 image was definitely located close to St Austell. Many Cornish clay mine pyramids (once referred to as the “Cornish Alps”) have been flattened. “White Pyramid” refers to their original ‘new’ appearance .
