Woman of 107 and man of 99, meet the King in Somerset. The King talked Mrs Coates, aged 107, who is believed to be the oldest woman in England, when he visited Manor Farm, Curry Mallet, during his tour of the Duchy of Cornwall estate in Somerset. The next oldest tenant, Mr Oliver Chalker, aged 99, was also received by the King. 2 December 1937
