Thousands of idle in East End, Master Tailor Strike. 'Manufacturers', or master tailors, dealing in women's coats and skirts, and declared a strike in East End London. They are demanding, among other things, an immediate increase of 20% of present prices from the wholesalers, with a minimum standard of 4s per garment. According to Mr A Blondin, secretary of the Masters organisation, 700 factories are closed on thousands of workers idle.
