The 'pinnacle' of smart headwear worn by Mrs Charles Sweeney, formerly Miss Margaret Whigham, when she attended a Dress and Fabric Show at Derby House, residence of Lord Derby, in Stratford Place, London. The show was organised to stimulate demand in the coming summer season for British fabrics. 5 May 1938
