It has to do, not withmaterial things, for in these all is loss, but with spiritualmeasures and moral qualities. The gain is found in deeperinsight, stronger purpose, greater seriousness, higher idealism, worthier conceptions of service. It is found in genuine sacri-fice, and in the force that is born of sacrifice. It stands re-vealed in a great increase of spiritual life and strength.
