The production of a Mozartkugel with a marzipan core, nougat and chocolate coating was elaborate and a novelty in patisserie. In 1905, the praline was awarded a gold medal at the International Product Show in Paris. The inventor failed to patent it. Since then there gbit many imitators worldwide. Salzburg, Austria
