The City of Love . Yearly for the past 18 years the young Belgian ladies of Ecaussines Lalaing have organised a matrimonial luncheon to which are invited all the bachelors for miles around . Sooner or later many marriages result from the meeting of young men and maidens , and the local builders have erected a number of houses which they have named The City of Love . Mlle Marie Delfosee , who will preside at this year 's matrimonial luncheon . 29 May 1925
