Ruzickova, who was often referred to as the first lady of harpsichord, was the wife of composer Kalabis (1923-2006). She won fame for her performance of Johann Sebastian Bach. RMKDG6T5–FILE Harpsichordist Zuzana Ruzickova in Prague, Czechoslovakia, July 1, 1969. Ruzickova died after a short serious illness in hospital at the age of 90 years today, September 27, 2017. Ruzickova, who was often referred to as the first lady of harpsichord, was the wife of composer Kalabis (1923-2006). She won fame for her performance of Johann Sebastian Bach. She recorded Bach's complete works on 35 CDs. Ruzickova, a soloist of the Czech Philharmonic in 1979-1990, received a number of music awards. Zuzana Ruzickova, born on January 14, 1927, started playing the piano at the age of nine.

At the time this photograph was taken the former school had been converted for commercial use, in which it continued until demolition in the 1960s. A number of the windows are broken or missing, probably as a result of bombing. Coventry City centre was devastated by air raids on 14th November 1940. The raids left the cathedral in ruins and destroyed much of the historic fabric of the city.
