She entered on a horse, acted like a minstrel at various tables until mounting the steps of the royal table she deposited a letter, and left rapidly on her horse. RMR83ECP–King Edward VII's favourite dog, Caesar, following the king's charger (horse) during Edward's funeral on the morning of 17 May 1910. His coffin was placed on a gun carriage and drawn by black horses to Westminster Hall, with the new King (George V) and his family walking behind. Following a brief service, the royal family left, and the hall was opened to the public; over 400,000 people filed past the coffin over the next two days.

RMERN4NH–King George, Kaiser Willhelm II of Germany and The Duke of Connaught at the funeral of King Edward VII. Edward died at Sandringham on May 6, 1910, after a series of heart attacks. His coffin lay in state in Westminster Hall before being taken through the streets of London and on to Windsor by train. The funeral was held in St George's Chapel where he was buried on May 20th 1910.

RMH4E4HC–After a short reign, King Edward VII died on 6th May 1910 . His body lay in the Throne Room of Buckingham Palace until it was moved to Westminster Hall where it lay in state. The coffin is placed on a catafalque and is guarded, around the clock, by detachments, each of four men, from the following units: Sovereign's Bodyguard, Household Cavalry, Foot Guards. Each unit mans the guard for a total of six hours, with each detachment standing post for twenty minutes. The four men stand at each corner with heads bowed and weapons inverted; their backs are turned towards the coffin.
