RM2B012EY–China: Major General Dai Li ( (May 28, 1897 - March 17, 1946) head of the Kuomintang Military Intelligence Service and right-hand man of Chiang Kai-shek. As the Chief of the Kuomintang (KMT) Army secret service in China, Dai Li helped to develop China's modern intelligence organisation in 1928. He became one of the most powerful and feared men in China. Dai was also the head of the Blue Shirts Society, a fascist organization that did security and intelligence work for Chiang. He died in a place crash in 1946, possibly arranged by his Communist counterpart, CCP intelligence chief Kang Sheng.

Xue Yue was a Chinese Nationalist military general, nicknamed by Claire Lee Chennault of the Flying Tigers as the 'Patton of Asia'. When Chiang Kai-shek retreated to Taiwan in 1949, Xue was put in charge of defending Hainan Island. The victorious Red Army was too much for the demoralised Nationalist forces. Xue left for Taiwan after the defense of Hainan Island collapsed. He served as a nominal adviser to the chief of staff in name only. He lived until 1998 to the age of 101.
