The centres, run by private security firm G4S, are said to be detaining asylum seekers and foreigners without charge whilst under ‘administrative detention’.

The protest was called as the Home Office intends to carry out a mass deportation to Jamaica in the middle of the Windrush scandal including members of the Windrush generation.
