RMGE846P–Friedrich Wilhelm Freiherr, or Marshal Bulow (1755 – 1816) was a Prussian general who supported the British during the Napoleonic Wars. His army played a conspicuous part in the final overthrow of Napoleon at Leipzig, and he was then entrusted with the task of evicting the French from Holland and Belgium.

It took place on 16 January 1809, when a French corps under Marshal of the Empire Nicolas Jean de Dieu Soult attacked a British army under Lieutenant-General Sir John Moore. John Moore (1761 – 1809) was struck by a cannon shot and fatally wounded.
