Steam train on the Rigibahn, Switzerland, c. 1900. The Rigibahn is located at Arth, Goldau, Luzern, Switzerland. The mountain passenger railway is Europe's earliest rack railway (1871). Here the funicular is crossing the Schnurtobelviadukt with the Vierwaldstätersee (lake) and Pilatus (mountain) in the background – from an old photograph in an old album.
