Giant Ogoh-Ogoh statue in the process of being prepared for the Balinese Hindu parade on the Eve of Nyepi which is also known as the Balinese New Year and the Day of Silence. The parade of these giant scary statues on the Eve of Nyepi is a complete contrast to the Balinese New Year's Day where all is quiet on the Indonesian island of Bali and people are forbidden to do anything other than stay indoors, meditate and pray.
