Epidaurus, Argolis, Peloponnese, Greece. The 14th century BC, 4, 000 seat theatre, designed by Polykleitos the Younger. The original 34 rows were extended a further 21 rows by the Romans. The Sanctuary of Asclepius at Epidaurus, of which the theatre is a part, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
