The Arleigh Burke class Aegis guided missile destroyer USS Milius (DDG-69) enters San Francisco Bay. The Milius is named after Commander Paul L. Milius (1928-1968) of U.S. Navy squadron VO-67 whose aircraft was hit over Laos in 1968 and after ordering his crew to bail out he exited the aircraft himself but he was never recovered. Commander Milius recieved the Navy Cross in 1968.
