A Beach with Fishing Boats, probably 1653, Oil on wood, 11 x 17 in. (27.9 x 43.2 cm), Paintings, Jan van Goyen (Dutch, Leiden 1596–1656 The Hague), The date on this thinly painted panel is almost certainly 1653, the last year in which Van Goyen is known to have painted beach scenes (the first known example is dated 1632).
