Decorated with stained glass by William Ailes, painted walls and ceiling by T Early, and a tiled floor, and dark oak screen Church originally at heart of the village but villagers forced to move to the hamlet of Weston Street (now Albury) in 1780s (1784/5) by Hon. William Clement Finch R.N. who enclosed the park & re-routed several roads running through it. He enclosed the village green & incorporated part of the churchyard into the park grounds.
