Leaving Colorado City the Colorado Mid-land next touches Manitou, one of the mostfamous health resorts in the world. Fromhere the road plunges at once into the moun-tains, and finds its way up through Ute Pass.The ascent to Divide is nearly all the way ona four per cent, grade, or 211 feet to the mile..
