September 8, 2019, Santa Barbara, California, U.S: ATF POLICE INVESTIGATES ..On September 8, 2019, Santa Barbara, California, U.S: FBI, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the US Coast Guard served warrants Sunday at the Santa Barbara Headquarters of Truth Aquatics. They are seeking training, safety and maintenance records. The Santa Barbara and Santa Monica police are assisting. They also searched the companyÃs other two boats, (The Truth and the Vision) that have been moored since the accident, the Vision and Truth. FBI and Police confiscate equipment from the office at the Sea Landing in Santa Barbara Harbor, where the community has created a memorial filled with flowers, photos and art. FBI are removing physical evidence as part of the ongoing investigation of the Conception boat fire and sinking that killed 34 people on Labor Day 20 yards from Santa Cruz Island in the Channel Islands.
