The arched lid and front and back sides (inverted) are decorated with banners, drums, a cannon barrel and cannon balls as well as rocaille beneath a seated Prussian eagle. The narrow sides with floral brass disks and painted trophy ornamentation. In the lid is a picture of the war god Mars in armour. The other surfaces are in white enamel.
