THE DRY PACK. In this application the patient is completely enveloped in 1192dry blankets, the head only being excluded, the purposebeing to lessen heat elimination, and thus produce an accu-mulation of bodily heat, and in some cases to induce per-spiration. Requisites.— A bed or couch with a comfortable mattress, a number of dry woolen blankets, bottles or rubber bags forhot water, hot sand bags, or other convenient means ofapplying dry heat to the body. riethod.— The pillow and sever
