The standard requires the following weights of PlymouthRocks: Cocks, 9.5 pounds; cockerels, 8 pounds; hens, 7.5pounds; pullets, 6 pounds. The Wyandottes.—-There are eight standard varieties ofthis breed, as follows: Silver, White, Buff, Partridge, SilverPenciled, Black, Golden, and Columbian. TheSilver Wyandotte was the first variety perfected and the firstto be admitted to the standard. They are quiet, lovable, excellent layers, good sitters andmothere.
