Giant Flowering Caladiuni The Moat Magnificent Foliage Plant 0/Recent IntroductionThis new introduction somewhat resembes theCaladiiim Ei^calentinn or Elephant Ear, but is euiielydistiuct, being much larger and vastly superior inevery way. Both the ])lant and leaves*are tiigantic, attaining a large size in a very short time. Conditiorsbeing equal it will grow three to four times as fast asthe common variety. Plants from 8 to 10 feer his^h, with leaves 4 to 5 feet long and 2 to ;3 feet wide, are notunusual. The leaves are of somewhat ditterent shapethan those of Caladium Esculentum, and are of brighterglossy green. Another distinct feature of thisVariety is that the mid ribs and veins ate sunken, giving* the surface of the leaf a rich quilted appear-ance. Each leaf has a border extending around theleaf one-half inch from the ed
