Josep Barceló Cassadó (Mataró, 1824-Barcelona, 1855). Catalan workers' leader. Spinner and prominent member of the Barcelona cotton spinners' association. He took an active part in the workers' mobilisations during the summer of 1854. He was court-martialled for a crime that took place in the mas de Sant Jaume de Olessa de Montserrat, and was found guilty and sentenced to death.
