Mr. Ewing was in tiemercantile business during his lifein Mount Inicn, conducting one ofthe best stores in this seetion. HerJ.^- co.:t:d considerable real es-tate in this neighborhood. He wasone of the first directors in the FirstNational Bank. He was an elder inthe Presbyterian church for manyjears, a noted Sunday school workerand a strong advocate cf temper-ance. m. DR. GEORGE C. BORST was bcrnin Huntingdon County March 9, 1854, and died in Newville, Pa., Jan. 8, 1907. He was married to HenriettaB. Rctliwell en June 2, 1877. Hischildren are: Lolita and Gertrude, who survive. He was a member cfthe IVIetliodist church, and practicedmedicine i;o:- a number of years inMount Union, coming here in 1878. LEX F. DAVIS was born at DublinMills, Fulton county, Apr. 22, 1860and died in Mount Unison Feb, 5, 1907. He was a son of Patrick Davisdeceased. For a number of years, he was Mount Tnions chief druggist.
