First 'artists special' leaves Victoria for Kent beauty spot. The first 'sketching excursion' a special train for artists, amateur or professional, left Victoria Station, London, for Hollingbourne, in the heart of the loveliest scenery in Kent. The 'Sketching trip'' was arranged specially to give artists an opportunity of putting on paper or canvas some of the beauty of the Kent countryside. Photo shows, artists watching Miss N Reney sketching the station scene before departure this morning (Sunday). 3 July 1938
