Chrysoto.nivi convexum, Brunetti, llec. Ind. Mas. xi, p. 249, pl.xiii, tig. 19, abdomen (1915). S. Head : frons with yellowish-grey dust; antenual promi- nence shining black, with black hairs, a few of which extend to the adjacent parts of the frons ; antennae black, arista reddish- brown on basal portion. Face bright yellow with a broad median black stripe; a black band from tlie corner of the eye to the mouth-border, which latter is reddish and shining. Under side of head yellowish-orange ; proboscis dark brown with short yellowish hairs. Black hairs on vertex, and a fringe of yellow hairs along posterior orbit oi! eye.
