The building Karl Marx Holf, of Period "Red Vienna" (1918-1934) was a battlefield during the short-lived Austrian civil war. Commemorative plaque on the wall of the building: "the first to face fascism in Europe were the Austrian workers. They fought for freedom, democracy and republic. We never forget !.
