Calyx campanulate, 15-nerved, slightly 2-lipped, its teeth all lanceolate, acute, the 3 upper longer than the 2 lower.Corolla much exserted, puberulent without, pubescent within, the tube narrow at the base, gradually widely ampliate into the throat, the limb 2-lipped; upper lip 2-lobed, arched, thelobes ovate, obtuse; lower lip about equalling the upper, spreading, 3-lobed, the middle lobeemarginate, broader than the lateral ones. Stamens 4, didynamous, all anther-bearing, included, ascending under the upper lip, the upper pair longer than the lower; anthers2-celled, the sacs nearly parallel. Ovary deeply 4-lobed; style equally 2-cleft at the summit.Nutlets oblong, smooth.
