TOWER BRIDGE, Stepney, London. Looking down onto the foredeck of the cruiser HMS Belfast. Being guided up the River Thames by two tugs on the approach to Tower Bridge, which is opening to let it pass. This was Belfast's last voyage before she moored in the Pool of London. It was there converted to a static visitor attraction and is now operated by the Imperial War Museum. Photographed by Eric de Mare in 1971.
