Toronto, Canada - July 15, 2005: The flagship Sam the Record Man store at 347 Yonge with its iconic neon sign was a Toronto landmark from 1961 to 2007. The franchise was founded in 1937 by Sam Sniderman and was at one time Canada’s largest music retailer. Sam is still recognized for his contributions to the Canadian music industry.
