TOKYO, Japan - Yasukuni Shrine, which honors about 2.47 million war dead, has started distributing free brochures in Korean and Chinese (in photo) to enhance the understanding of the Shinto shrine amid disputes with China and South Korea over Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi's repeated visits there. The brochures explain the history and other details of the shrine. An English version is also available. (Kyodo)
