The West Bengal government has directed state government schools to distribute Mid-Day Meal supplies to parents of students during the summer vacation so that the needy children are not deprived of the scheme. The notice said that each student would get 2 kg of rice, 2 kg of potato, 250 grams of sugar, 250 grams of pulses, and one bar of soap. So the students came to a primary school to get their food items during summer vacation and some of them are also helping to give food items at Nabin Nagar, West Bengal, India.
