The Sino-Russian highway bridge to link trading cities of Blagoveshchensk and Heihe is under construction in Heihe city, northeast China's Heilongjiang province, 10 April 2018. China and Russia agreed to construct a 2-lane highway bridge over the Amur to link the "twin" trading cities of Blagoveshchensk and Heihe. Ceremonial ground-breaking for this bridge has held on 24 December 2016, and is expected to open in October 2019.
