"The people reject the dictator, murderer and corrupt government" can be read on a panel when thousands of unionists, activists, and members of indigenous groups took to the streets as part of the so called Third Takeover of Lima, to start another wave of protests against the President Dina Boluarte and the Congress, asking for her resignation and new general elections. In previous riots, from December 2022 to March of this year, there were more than 50 deaths due to the use of excessive force by the police to control the protesters.
