The original Cromwell Argus newspaper office, an exhibit in the Cromwell Heritage Precinct. It was published in the late 1860s. It had a brief rival - The Cromwell Guardian, which only lasted three and a half months!It is open to the public and contains a static display and information centre.The paper ceased publication in 1948 when it was taken over by The Central Otago News.
