Cefas is an executive agency of the UK Government's Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. Cefas delivers science and government advice on marine and freshwater science. The site has recently been renovated with a new office building constructed on site and the large white building and the long flat 2 story building demolished. The white building was previously a hotel.
