The Last Post is sounded outside St John's Church in Barmouth, at the funeral service for Lance Corporal Thomas Keys. Lance Corporal Keys, a former paratrooper, * ... died four days short of his 21st birthday while defending a civilian police station in Al Majar al-Kabir last month. Today his father Reg paid tribute to him at a funeral service at St John's Church in Barmouth near his home in Llanuwchllyn in north Wales. And his platoon commander spoke of his strength and loyalty. His coffin was borne into church draped in a Union flag with the soldier s peaked red cap on top.
