Polished blade (mild aging) with etched motto and manufacturer's 1935-41 logo and RZM code. Nickel-plated hilt fittings with brown wooden grip inset nickel silver eagle and enamelled SA emblem. Black lacquered (minor aging) steel scabbard with nickel-plated steel fittings complete with matching construction 4 link upper, 5 link lower chain hanger. Reverse links stamped "Musterschutz NSKK - Korpsführung", RZM (double circle) 5/8 and with the Assmann man, Editorial-Use-Only
