The Duke of Kent congratulating Sqn Ldr Herbert Brackley of Imperial Airways for being the first recipient, along with eight other Captains, of the Cumberbatch Trophy for Reliability (on the table) at the Guild of Air Pilots and Air Navigators of the British Empire’s reception in Mansion House on 12 October 1936. This trophy is still awarded.
