The Duke of Edinburgh, accompanied by Julian Younger from the British Tourist Authority (right), talks at Windsor Castle with leading tourism figures from around the world to persuade them that the country is open for business, despite the foot and mouth epidemic. * Delegates were also visiting the Prime Minister's official country residence at Chequers. Windsor Castle is used by the Royal family both as a private residence and for official and state engagements, and has been in continuous use since William the Conqueror built a fortress on the site following his invasion of England in 1066.
