The British Reoccupation of Hong Kong The first batch of Japanese naval prisoners of war to board the SS FORT BUFFALO, which will carry them home to Japan, head down into the ship towards their quarters. The ship would then return with supplies for other prisoners of war still held in Hong Kong. Embarkation of the prisoners was supervised by men of 42 and 44 Royal Marine Commados.
