Texas Lt. Governor, William P. Hobby, Jr. (born Jan. 19th, 1932) shown in the Texas Senate chamber at the Texas Capitol in February, 1987 at the start of his fifth term in office. After serving as the House Parliamentarian, Hobby was elected as Lt. Gov. of the State of Texas in November, 1972 and served until succeeded by Bob Bullock in 1991. Hobby's father, William P.
