Terminally ill Chinese woman Yang Liu dressed in a wedding gown, second right, and her husband Peng Xin, second left, are pictured during their wedding ceremony in a ward at a hospital in Wuhan city, central China's Hubei province, 23 February 2016. A terminally ill Chinese woman has married her long-time boyfriend in her hospital bed after receiving a surprise wedding proposal earlier the same day, mainland media reports. Yang Liu, 39, finally tied the knot with her boyfriend, Peng Xin, on Wednesday (23 February 2016) at the hospital in Hubei province where she is receiving treatment, after an eight-year courtship, Hubei Radio and Television reported on Thursday. "I have imagined my wedding on many occasions, " said Yang, a supermarket cashier from Wuhan, who has been told she has less than five years left to live. "I never thought that it would take place in a hospital, but I am just as happy." Yang was diagnosed with late-stage breast cancer in February, when it was already impossible for her to have life-saving surgery carried out.
