The Submarine Force Museum in Groton, CT is the home of the historic nuclear sub, the USS Nautilus. The USS Nautilus, the first nuclear submarine built for the United States Navy at Electric Boat Shipyard from 1952-1954, also in Groton, CT, is now retired and docked in the water. You can tour the sub and see what it is really like both inside and out.
