Located near Manikarnika Ghat on the bank of Ganges river in Varanasi, Shri Satuwa Baba ashram is a Hindu boarding school run by Shri Satuwa, an organization of a hundreds-year-old religious sect. Their last spiritual leader was Shri Satuwa Baba Maharaj (1913-2012), the sixth Satuwa Baba. Everyday, Satuwa Baba followers study Vedic text and yoga at the ashram. Besides curriculum and lodge, the ashram provides free meals for 50 students and 150 pilgrims each day.
